Sara Hirsch is a poet and spoken word educator, a former UK Slam Champion and was third ranked in the World Slam Championships in 2014. Sara has performed at Glastonbury, has featured on the BBC and has toured extensively both in the UK & Internationally. As one half of 'Team Trending', the runners up in the National Anti-Slam Final 2016, Sara is proud to have nearly been officially both the best and worst poet in the UK.

Sara’s debut poetry collection ‘Still Falling’ was published with Burning Eye Books in 2016. It has been described as “Annoyingly good” by Harry Baker. Her second collection 'Louder Than Words', will be published with BX3 this summer. Sara is currently completing her Writer/Teacher MA at Goldsmiths University, runs Genesis Slam, London's only regular 3 round slam and is attempting to gradually dismantle the patriarchy, one poem at a time.
